In this assignment, you will be give a set of questions about the major ideas of the classical social thinkers and the authors of the other writings we have read up to Week 7 in class. You will choose several (probably 3 or 4) on which to write essay responses. These questions will ask you to reflect critically and synthesize what you know about each of the major theories we will be discussing. You will have room to develop your own ideas, and you will be evaluated on how much you develop a strong argument for your answer to each question. More information about the procedures for the assignment will be given later in the semester.
